Influencers: Trend-setters and Digital Transformators

Within the vast realm of digital media, influential figures have taken centre stage, exerting considerable control over consumer habits, tastes, and fashions. Their sincerity and accessibility have made them the social media world's masterminds, shaping consumers' tastes in apparel and products. This investigation dives into the complex realm of influencers, finding out what they do, how they interact with their followers, and how they shape the online world.

What Makes an Influencer

A person who can sway the thoughts, actions, and financial decisions of others is, at their core, an influencer. Content creation and distribution on digital platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and blogs is a common way to harness this influence. Influencers, in contrast to more conventional celebrities, often become well-known via the interactions they establish with their audience and the digital content they create.

Categories of Influencers

There are many different types of influencers, and each one targets a unique demographic, interest group, or industry. A macro-influencer is someone who has a huge following—hundreds of thousands, if not millions—and can connect with people from all walks of life. In contrast, micro-influencers focus on a smaller but highly engaged audience and tend to work within niches. A hyper-local or hyper-specific focus is common among nano-influencers, who have even smaller followings.

Challenges in the Influencer Sphere

The influencer industry may be exciting and profitable, but it also has its fair share of obstacles. There are continuous challenges, such as dealing with the pressure to produce content constantly, staying authentic while collaborating with brands, and keeping up with the ever-changing digital platform landscape. Furthermore, influencers are constantly under fire, which emphasises how delicately they must balance their personal authenticity with their business partnerships.

We should not put all “influencers'' in the same basket. The Mosellan individual known as Bytiddraw, whose English pronunciation is "by ti draw," offers drawing lessons on social media platforms, especially TikTok. At no cost.

Thierry Blanchard, better known by his username "Bytiddraw," does not deal in sales or trades, which allows him to draw inspiration from anywhere: manga, video games, science fiction, and more. "The issue of rights does not arise because I do not commercialise anything." He often uses popular culture figures as the subjects of his demos and tutorials, which he then performs either live or in accelerated video.

Anime and manga, especially the world of Dragon Ball created by mangaka Toyotaro, as well as comics and American comics in general, as well as the work of Belgian comic book artist Midam and his "Kid Paddle," serve as sources of inspiration for the artist. Salvador Dali, "who extrapolates in his way of thinking," is the artist he admires the most, though. As for his favourite character, he admits that it's Darth Vader from the Star Wars saga. Inspiration can come from many different places.

He offers his subscribers an hour of drawing and advice every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Avoid hypocrites! The reproduction becomes one-of-a-kind because Bytiddraw knows how to add his artistic and personal touch.

Based on the lighting and facial features, I use my imagination to create my drawings. I do not depict them accurately; I just draw what I see. Get out of here, amateurs of the art of reproduction.

Thierry learned all of his tricks and best practices independently, without ever attending college. "I do not have an academic approach, and sometimes I am criticized for it," he says, “but I have always practised drawing as an autodidact since I was six years old." On the other hand, he continues with a hint of self-importance about how critical subscribers' comments tend to be more moderate and complimentary of the end product. Regularly, his live broadcasts are followed by 1,000 people, with a peak of 1,200, which he is very proud of

On the road to a makeover?

In response to a challenge issued by a younger friend, this 36-year-old dad took to social media. An electrician by profession, he then practised drawing for himself.  He is content with his current level of success and occasionally fantasises about a career switch to drawing "because to succeed is to do what you love," but he is reluctant to make any drastic changes. The best way to increase your subscriber count is to gradually improve your reputation, and then to cross your fingers that the networks' snowball effect starts.

Here, or even with someone he meets on the street, he enjoys playing the role of one of his subscribers. Johnny, as well as singer, actress, and TV host Kamini—who admired his portrait—and footballer Olivier Giroud are among the celebrities he enjoys drawing in his unique style. He seems to have been asked to draw portraits of other actors, but he will not reveal any more details.

Friends, family, and his wife and kids all pitch in to help him out with his digital ventures, and they even moderate the comments on his live streams. A cohesive group where everyone gets along well because the only thing that matters is the joy that comes from connecting with others and exchanging ideas. "We put in time every day. The most important thing, which is communicating and sharing, gets overlooked. Thus, we are able to elevate a small scale and place greater emphasis on a passion project.”

Moreover, it is only after his little ones go to bed that he gives in to his passion and gives himself fully to it.

While virtual is convenient, nothing beats the real thing.

Not only that, but it now provides actual workshops in addition to its free online courses. Every time he brings his tools and his talent to a huge creative hobby store in Metz's suburbs, he is warmly welcomed. After that, he proposes to his clients that he paint a portrait of them and present it to them. He patiently shows tips and spends time with those who ask questions. “

People are often more difficult to entice first thing in the morning because they are anxious, out shopping, and think we are trying to sell them something. "I do not have any money" is their response whenever we invite them over and offer to paint their portrait. However, when we succeed in persuading a small number of them, the public is overjoyed.”

To have his art appreciated is his ultimate goal.

He plans to cut down on his material expenditure by forming a partnership with the creative leisure equipment brand if these hopes come true. Additionally, preparations have been made for the upcoming workshop, where the store will be providing him with pencils for the first time. Gradually, according to his statement, it is certain that he will never endorse anything he does not actually use.

This dad is killing it with his insane skills and a pencil and some coloured pencils, and he is quickly becoming a fan favourite. He could end up being the next Leonardo da Vinci, you never know!
